The Leander School District sponsors a "Cool Week" each year that allows the students to spend the week participating with an employer or business in a field they would like to pursue after graduation.  This year North Lake Travis Fire and Rescue had three future firefighter hopefuls spend the week learning the ins and outs of the fire service: Everything from washing trucks and cleaning bays to search and rescue, agility testing, extrication and fire streams.  North Lake Travis is proud to be a participant in Leander's "Cool Week".

Point Venture has an Easter Parade each year and NLT Fire and Rescue Volunteers participate with an Engine in the Parade.  This year the Easter Bunny almost didn't make it.  Thanks to volunteer Chad Christianson, who stepped in at the last minute, there was an Easter Parade.  Chad is pictured here with volunteers Ed Stuart and John Franz.

North Shore Volunteer Services (formerly North Shore Fire and Rescue) donated North Lake Travis Fire and Rescue their first "Fire Boat".
